AHTA: Caribbean Society Of Hotel Association Executives Agree On Six Point Plan For National Associations.
May 14,  2008: TRINIDAD – The Caribbean Society of Hotel Association Executives (CSHAE) gathered for its annual Leadership Conference May 4-6 in Trinidad.  Sherille Hughes President of the Anguilla Hotel & Tourism Association (AHTA) along with Trudy Nixon, Executive Director, attended the Leadership Conference as part of an effort to further strengthen and expand the activities for the AHTA.  (More)

May 01,  2008: The UK Guardian online, today, published an account of a warning presented by the House of Commons public accounts committee. The committee of MP's warned that the 14 remaining colonies were at risk of becoming centres for money laundering from dubious financial practices because of poor quality regulatory standards. Business: WINAIR adds a fuel surcharge - US$25 on roundtrip fares.
April 26, 2008:  Windward Island Airways international N.V. (WINAIR) has announced a  US$12.50 fuel surcharge on one-way tickets on all flights and US$25 for round trips as of 1 May. The new surcharge is a "direct result of the steady rise in fuel prices", said the company in a Press Release.  (More)
