Anthology
Of Caribbean Poetry To Be Launched At CARIFESTA X

The tenth edition of the Caribbean Festival of
Arts (Carifesta X) will be staged in Guyana from August 22
to August 31, 2008, under the theme, ‘One Caribbean, One
Purpose – Our Culture Our Life’.
One of the innovative features of The Literary Arts
Sub-committee of Carifesta X is to produce a number of
publications. One such publication is An Anthology of
Caribbean Poetry to be launched during the festival.
Published Anguillian Poets interested in submitting their
work for the anthology should contact Ms. Linda Lake at the
Department of Youth and Culture at 498-3792 or email
linda.lake@gov.ai.
Submissions must be short, 30 lines or one page each. A
brief Bio of the writer must be included.
