On Saturday, June 28, 2008, the CCB Talented Teen

The contestants were given the opportunity to perform the
skin-care regimen themselves under the instruction of Mrs.
Brooks and Mrs. Connor. This allowed the contestants to gain
hands-on experience, deepening their understanding of the
concepts presented. All products used in the session were
Mary Kay products. The skin care products were provided
courtesy of the consultant.

Made-up contestants with Mary Kay Consultants
Before beginning the process, the contestants were given the
task of assessing their skin type with the assistance of the
consultants. The first step involved the application of Mary
Kay’s Timewise 3-in-1 cleanser, used to deep clean the
pores, exfoliate dead skin cells and renew the skin. This
was followed by the application of moisturizer, which
according to Mrs. Brooks, acts as water/hydration for the
skin. She stated that just as water is essential for the
preservation of the body, so is moisturizer necessary for
the maintenance of the skin. Mary Kay’s Satin Lips Lip Mask
was then applied to exfoliate the lips.
Following the skin-care session contestants were directed on
how to apply their make-up subtly to enhance their natural
beauty. After the application of their make-up, the
contestants went directly into the photo shoot.
The Bank through this medium would like to thank Mrs. Brooks
and Mrs. Connor, Mary Kay Consultants for their services.
The wrap outfits worn by the contestants were purchased from
Why Knot Everywhere Wear located in West End. The
photography was done by Mr. Ivor Hodge of Images By Ivor.
The CCB Talent Teen show is scheduled for Tuesday, August
5th , 2008 as part of the Summer Festival 2008 activities.
